I highly suggest tracking down these two Terry Riley LPs as well:
1. Lifespan
2. Happy Ending/Les Yeux Fermes
Both were French soundtracks and resemble Popul Vuh at their best, and that
is only scratching the surface. A lot more melodic and less drone/minimal
than most of the work he is best known for.
HE/Les Yeux was also produced by Igor Wakhevitch who also put some
incredible LP's which are now available on CD.
I'm not sure if these two Riley soundtracks have been reissued on CD.
