This might mark one of the first sample-crossovers of punk into idm. How exciting! Ian MacKaye (of fugazi) also formed half of Pailhead, which I think is a more exciting milestone, tho.... and that was 5 (?) years ago. but, it's cool to know that some of us idm-heads out there came from a punk background, as opposed to new wave/proto-goth/4ad origins.
