Just a quick question : BentCrayon are the only mail order place I
have established any kind of contact with : I've received mail from
John C. stating that he'd be prepared to do business with me here in
South Africa. Waiting for The Knights Who Say Dot to be back in
stock, before I go ahead and place an order - also desperately want
Echo Dek (the Adrian Sherwood vs Primal Scream) & a few others that
are just plain impossible to hunt down locally.
Do you think their prices are high/fair/reasonable? I have no idea
what things cost in the US, but by the time postage etc. has gone on
top of the advertised prices, it still comes out pretty high. Are
there any other companies you would feel happy to recommend?
With all the current talk of bad traders and defunct companies etc. I
am facing a bit of a dilemma, since it works out very expensive from
here because our currency is very weak. (Cannot trade privately or
buy used CD's, since the only means of payment is via c/card - cannot
get foreign currency out of this country ... blah.)
