Not very representative of what's being done now. Evanesence is a rather good album as is the remix album of this Ellipsis. I've sort of lost touch with them after Gyral.

Definitely look out Satyricon (the album that got me started in IDM, especially the remixes by Orbital and Aphex Twin of Mindstream).

I'd also recommend adding some Black Dog to that list. You've probably seen that opinions differ on the list to which is the best album but they appear to differ in between Bytes and Spanners.
