Umm... not sure how similar this is to Chiastic slide (or anything by Ae). I'll assume the Sidewinder is as awesome as you and The Music Press seem to think it, since it's justin broadrick, but I was wondering how the Chrome release that are not Panacea or Techno Animal compare? I was considering getting the Problem Child 12"... And, if you're going to mention the Sidewinder, you should mention Techno Animal and the new Godflesh remix CD (Love and Hate in Dub), which features literally the darkest piece of noise/drum and bass ever recorded, Almost Heaven (Helldub). Screeches, whines, feedback, _huge_ rumbling bass, metallic clanging as percussion. Better even than Panacea. And it is also worth noting that all these are Justin Broadrick side projects. My 2 cents on the 242 issue: How could the last two albums (Up Evil and Off) _not_ be fodder for discussion on IDM? Totally revolutionary. (I could, however, see someone having a problem discussing Front by Front and backwards. Not me, however).
