They stated in a fairly recent interview that I read on the web (can't remember the address for the life of me, it was at a site hosted somewhere in continental Europe with really goofy graphic design, lots of scribbled icons etc) that they never actually intended to have so many pseudonyms, and that they were going to retire quite a few of them, with the result that the next Global Communication album would be in a variety of styles. (They also said that Jedi Knights 12" on Clear was intended to be a one-off project, but they had so much fun doing it, and it sold so well, that they decided to keep it going.)
