I was bitching over the fact that major labels take sooooo damn long to
get releases out. The thing that I find really ironic is that majors are
usually quite conscious of what they're releasing relative to what the
other labels are releasing at the same time and the Plug album is hot on
the heels of Luke's Mo Wax album (er... this is our in the US, right?)
which is on London/FFRR in the US. Then again most people probably aren't
going to realize that they're one and the same.
Personally, I would like to see the Drum n' Bass For Papa sell tons. Of
course, it won't sell as much as Marylin Manson but the more Plug albums
that get sold then the better it is for Luke. 'Nuff said. (Well, it'd also
give a message to the majors that weird music without vocals can sell.)
