You know I don't know why people hate this EP so much.
While I would agree that Umur is one of Mike's weaker over-all efforts it
does contains some of my fave u-ziq tracks, "Let Let" and the Phi 1700
remix.
I mean, who would've thought that you could use an Ornette Coleman and
Jean-Jaques Perrey samples in a drum n' bass tune and have it work so
well ("Let Let")? And I think that the Phi remix really grows and develops
over it's 10 minutes.
