the limited edition number have to be bullshit, or these labels own their own
record presses, because with costs like:
$120 per side mastering, $87 per side for 2-step processing, $110 for labels,
$40 for test pressings, and then $.95 for each record pressed, then $.37-$.42
for each jacket (with just a die-cut center), what is that... about $820?
then selling to distributors for what $3.75 each?? where's the point in
releasing only 100 or 200 copies. at least 500-1000 to be worth it.
So, is LIMITED EDITION real or marketing? are the only 100-200, or 1000?
(and the label is just sitting on the other copies letting them sneak out
one by one at collector prices)
