Most Important when choosing a listening medium; Vinyl outlasts CDs when bombarded by microwaves. So there! Put a CD in the microwave on hi power. It won't last 30 seconds. Its really quite a sight if you've never tried it. Lots of sparks. Vinyl hold up quite well. I haven't tried DAT or tapes. Anyone? On Aug 6, 10:14pm, Rusty Householter wrote:

The only way to settle it is to sit down and listen to your music. Who the hell cares about this enough to do what you mention? Everytime this debate comes up some cd lover has to go anal on Hz. This stupid debate always comes down to cd buyers trying to make vinyl buyers feel like we're missing out on something you enjoy. Your head isn't a sound card. Perhaps you should focus more on the music and less on the frequency response curve and you would have to miss out on all the 12" only releases. Sad to have to wait for the comp isn't it? -- Mark Edward Bowen Warmed Breakdown mb@gettins.bche.uic.edu
