That has to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard -- I don't care about music because I don't have a turntable? I am sorry for for starting the whole thread, but I think this is a little extreme. The real reason I haven't been saving for a table is I can't stop buying the music now that I'm hooked, and there are a fair amount of CD releases to choose from. The problem is once I buy a turntable, I need an amp & speakers as well (we're currently borrowing some from a friend). So, essentially, I need to buy an entire stereo, which will take a while.
