I'll agree with this one. I finally bought something on Clear, a Clatterbox 12" w/ two remixes of Spatz and 2 other tracks. I only have one complaint - I wish the Paul Teebrooke remix was about twice as long (or at least the second half of it anyway - that synth part just fills everything right in, although the ending seems like it's going to be fuck-all for mixing out of...). I could go on again evangelizing about the Detroit masters, but there's already been mention of Carl Craig at least, which is well-deserved in a discussion of funky electronic music. Not NP, but I have it in my head: Emerson Lake and Palmer's "Lucky Man" - that portamento/pitch-bended Moog solo is damn funky!
