I had similar problems on my Marantz CD-52 II SE (just a standard
player, not a changer). You have to line the disc up *just* right in
the tray, or it refuses to acknowledge it & makes a nasty grating
sound - I hope this isn't harming my CD player ! Still - it's a
great disc (both music & design wise)
