I have to agree with Mark here. I've lost 4 pieces of mail
(letters/packages) over the last year via USPS. The pieces of mail in
question were all "Priority Mail." They do NOT trace items unless you
insure them (and strangely enough, they never seem to get lost when I
insure them ;-) so since it doesn't cost that much more, I insure ALL
packages sent through USPS. I only use UPS on special occasions, so I
cannot vouch for their personal service: However, I do use both UPS and
FedEx (amongst others) at work and know that, even though they do a
great job, they too screw up. Everyone is human... well, most people
are.
My recommendation is to control all elements that you can, since there
are so many that you cannot.
Kev.
