you can get as many test pressings as you like. 12. 120. doesn't matter.

either the artist or the record label. they do cost money, of course. so you're probably better off pressing more of the "real" ones... plus if you get a test made and you don't like it, you need to remaster and get another test, which means you could get stuck with a load of records that you're not happy with.
