radioshack no longer carries phono preamps.. I found this out when I first
got my sl1200.. You'll have to buy an issue of Stereo Review or some other
mag about stereo's and then check in the back, there are frequenly ads of
places that do sell preamps, and yes, they are $30 (mine was $33)
