Considering I haven't begun to record any music yet, I would probably
remix anything for the experience and the money. That doesn't mean that I
would like that artist at all or that I would talk about them.

What is your definition to something with balls to it? NIN is so
overkilled, you can't go to a bar, party, or anywhere with hearing them
(that is in the US). A group like them is of no interest to me, because I
usually like more experimental forms of music. This list has been a good
source for learning more about that kind of music. I would rather not read
about NIN, David Bowie, or any other pop artist
