Yeah, I know. I once witnessed two people at a party arguing about whether The Cure well sell outs or not. One of them almost ended up in tears. Weird. My most emotional response to date is an amazed "huh!?" when I was told Bad Religion had signed with Sony. To James Bernard: I remember hearing you were gonna have an album out on Side Effects sometime this year. Is this true? I've been waiting for 3 years for something even remotely similar to "Atmospherics", one of the (very) few ambient albums I like. Cabaret Voltaire: Maybe the Cabs were never IDM (although I think "The Conversation" would qualify), but if we were to explore the roots of the genre, I am sure they would rank high on the list of important influences. It's not all Kraftwerk and Schulze, y'know. Maarten onnow: german sheperds - thc -------------------------------------------------------- M a a r t e n D .
