at liberty to choose.
To a lot of people i appear bitter and angry, i realise
that. To them i would say that I am just standing up for
my rights as an independent and free willed artist. And
yes, i *am* bloody angry. BUT I'VE BEEN LIKE THAT SINCE
BIRTH.
I am going to shut up now, I've said my piece, and i've
got constructive things like live gigs, and new material
to prepare. Some of you will probably 'dislike' me even
more after this latest outburst, but I'm ultimately not
bothered, as it's not about "sales". You may 'vote me off'
the list if you wish, as I don't even feel like an IDM
musician anymore. The boundaries of "what is acceptable"
have become too fixed, and the same old pap is being
trundled out for your delectations. It's sad.
The music of TBD is the music of deserts, hills, and
sacred groves. The spaces of contemplative humanity.
Beyond the day to day press of so called civilisation,
and hangable autobulbs.
Those that "dig the sound", will dig the sound. And
i thank them for that.
