¤ David Caron - Any day - 12" - Eevo Lute Muzique - EEVO 024 Sandor Caron - Incompatible - 12" - Signum - SIGN9605 ¤ From Amsterdam come The Caron Brothers, mostly called David or Sandor living in boats or somewhere else. The long awaited follow-up to his stunning debut ep on Eevo Lute from 1994 (!). 'Fantasy on a fantasy on a ..' caught the attention from Mo Wax chief James Lavelle and got a remixed rewind through his temporaly Mo Wax Excursions. 'Any Day' is pretty different from his debut. Featured two times is the track 'Dreamshower' which is towards lo-fi club in the original mix and is pumped up and sharpened in the remix. 'Link' is spacey densed track loaded full with strings and basses. Only the track 'Easy Afternoon' reminds in sound to his debut ep with the ambient soundscapes with undercooled beats. Sandor comes around with, in tradition of David, a banging debut release. Beautiful sensitive release on Signum Records, a new label putting out a broad range of fine music. Four cuts of excellent melodic jazzy tracks, from the moody smooth 'Plateaux' towards the drum 'n bassish 'Catt Fsyn'. Deeply fine productions and all tracks overloaded with pure emotions. It's fine, it's sweet, it's melodramatic, it's beautiful! One of the deepest ever to come abroad from Holland! Honest. ¤ btw. Put meneer Van der Giessen of the Props Company to work and order this last record! Order Sonar Bass on Utrax right away and the highlights of Low in 1997 are directly coming to you! http://www.xs4all.nl/~utrax ¤ ¤ Forcefield ¤ - http://wwwedu.cs.utwente.nl/~wielen/forcefield/
