hello all-
i apologize for taking that out into the public.
extreme frustration, and it's really a very long story.
Warp is and always will be a fine label; the people behind Warp are doing a
great deal for the vitality of the music we love. the situation to which i refer
doesn't change that. i hope there are no hard feelings there or anywhere. let's
just say that e-mail is an INCREDIBLY flawed medium for communication.
my only request - and the message which i hoped to relay with that post - is
that you, INTELLIGENT music lovers of intelligent music, think before simply
accepting what someone says as holy writ or absolute truth. 'truth' is a concept
which is easily warped by the powers of the Internet. just be careful, please.
it goes back to that old 'you can't trust everything you read or see on TV'
line. but for all the problems with those mediums, the distortion of truth is
far greater online.
