Your concern is valid and personally, I figure it can go a few ways: 1. Warp might label Broadcast's first release as "Wall Wart" or somesuch anonym, rendering Broadcast invisible in their new distribution and simultaneously buttressing Warp's image as "corner-combing" and "revealers of the new." An adjunct to this would have Broadcast rendered as the next Lex Loofah, Modus Vivendi, etc. 2. There could be an upswell of support and exposure from working with a larger label. Warp enjoys an amount of credibility from the music industry that can be exploited for their artists' benefit (sort of the reverse of how labels live off the artists' work), especially in this time of flux as electronic music of yet-to-be-determined-quality is getting more popular in America (and consequently globally, natch). Warp could prove instrumental as a visible label striking a standard of quality without compare (as they have done in the past), B'cast being a worthy candidate. 3. No change. eric
