Just to present an opposing point of view, I would heartily recommend
"The Conversation", "Living Legends" (early Classic CV era tracks) and
"Plasticity" over "The Covenant ...", "Drinking Gasoline" and "Microphonies"
any day. Especially to a curious IDM list member (who would probably be
more atune to the recent trilogy Techno releases than to the mid-80's work).
