As a footnote to the Billy Corgan/Smashing Pumpkins go electronica
thread, take a listen to the first seven and last six seconds of their
Grammy Nominated smash "1979". You'll have to turn it up a bit to hear
it, but there's a nice, minimalist electronic beat goin' on here.
I'm willing to give them some credit - it's probably the most
interesting thing nominated (at least in pop/rock) this year.
