I would comment on the cover art specifically but I haven't seen the release yet.
You do bring up an interesting point re: Autechre's music and architecture,
though - their work reminds me much more of static art forms (sculpture as
well) than D&B or even Techno somewhat. Not that this couldn't be applied to
other IDM artists as well, it's just that a lot of their releases seem to suggest
this more than those of others... If I had to pick an analogous sculptor, I'd
say Brancusi...
