"Body Mapping" is sort of in between what I can only call the
Tresor-ness of his earlier one ("Absolute Time") and his first
more idm-y Mille Plateaux one, "Beginning to Understand". By
Tresorness I mean that minimal, hard, misanthropic housey
sound that's the big thing right now. Vogel doesn't seem to be
able to give it enough twists to reward long-term listening.
Beginning to Understand is better than both the Tresor albums.
Anyone have anything to say about the new one on MP?
