Reminds me of what a freind said to me the other day while on the phone with him at work... Him - "What are you listening to?" Me- "Autechre" Him - "What's that? Techno?" Me -(wincing 'cause I KNOW what he calls techno) "Well yeah...sort of...I guess electronica is more appropriate." Him - "Oh yeah! Hey you have to hook me up with some of that, Spin Magazine says it's gonna be the next big thing" Me- (shaking my head in silence) This is from the same guy who said to me last year that "listening to bands like Dishwala and Bush was better than listening to techno all day long". My sad pathetic trendy freinds... On a similar note... You know when it's getting bad when you hear the Firestarter single being played over and over again in the local electronics store - in this case a Wiz in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NYC. It's even worse when you consider the kind of area this is. Meathead Guido would be an understatement. Ahh well Eric
