One of my favorite idm records of 1996 was released on Hypnotic... a danish
band called Kraftwelt. If you can forgive the undeniably cheesy name,
you'll find an album's worth of incredibly well-produced songs leaning
towards the experimental electronic side of the techno spectrum. The album
I have is called "Electric Dimension" for those interested...
I can definitely vouch however the level of crap on Hypnotic, having heard
LCD's new album. Imagine a total rip-off of the chemical brothers, with
cliche Doom 2 samples. Yecch.
