Some tidbits and questions...
- If you must get that Plaid remix of Deee-Lite on CD, which was only on vinyl
in the US as far as I know, the Japanese edition CD has it. WPCR-894.
- There's a remix album out now from Silent Poets, a Japanese
acid-jazz/trip-hop band (I think). Remix duties by Fila Brazillia, DJ Cam, Up,
Bustle and Out, More Rockers, Skylab, Natural Calamity, Smith and Mighty, and
Silent Poets themselves. Out now on Nobukazu Takemura's Idyllic label.
TFCC-88211.
- 808 State has released "Remixes and Rare '97". WPCR-942. I'm not sure if
this is Japan-only - it wouldn't surprise me, since 808 did a similar thing
once before with "Forecast". Track listing for "R&R '97":
Joyrider (808 Remix)
Balboa (808 Remix)
Azura (808 Remix)
Azura (Dillinja Remix)
Lopez (Eno Remix)
Paradon
Spanish Marching
Goa
Pump
- DJ Krush has put out a 45-minute videotape. Does anyone know what's on this
tape?
- Coldcut has put out "Ninja Ultimate Megamix". TFCK-87910. Also available on
vinyl. Has this already been mentioned? (I don't think this is same as the
ColdKrushCuts album.) Will it be Japan-only? How many tracks? What tracks?

hey... I'd be Lando Calrissian's father... I'd be Luke Skywalker's slave. //
