Interesting analysis. I'd almost think that the probable path is both
directions at once, the Chem Bros and Prodigy on one end of the spectrum,
and the Viberts and Schmidts and James' on the other. The former of the
two will get most of the MTV/AOR play as they are closer to current pop
music; the latter group will continue to innovate. Although if there were
a really cheeky video for 'Milkman' I bet it'd get everyone's attention...
