the moment i heard the new song i loved it (we are talking about discoteque,
right?). but all ive heard from radio disc jockeys is bashing. i think its
great when a band or artist ventures into trying something new. this is
definitely a new sound for u2, and i guess perhaps long-time and devoted
fans of theirs might be a little disturbed at the style change. but since
ive always just liked them and never felt strongly one way or another about
them, im more receptive to the change.
