Well, you certainly can tell that it is influenced by Vibey once you've been told. The snare drum sound is sort of a subdued poppy noise that vibert loves and HAB contains. The drum programming is the most obvious giveaway, though, since no other programming was done like this by RDJ until this EP series. He's done breakbeats before, but not the D&B style of breaks seen on HAB. I like HAB 1 better than some of Plug stuff (not all, but some) because a couple songs on it contain that RDJ majic he can occasionaly wield. My favorite track is LaughableButaneBob (which you lucky non HAB owners can obtain via Blech 2 CD) because of the sweet melody over the top of the symbol/snare onslaught. OHwell..I still wish that RDJ LP was as good as HAB EPs (I had such high hopes, which is perhaps my fault).
