I used to quite like his Octopus recordings on Fax (I think around 94 or 95) where he mixed up heaps of field recordings with electronics.. his idea being that the echoes etc. in the real world were far more interesting than a bunch of effects boxes, from memory. Nice call. There is certainly something really exciting about hearing, say, fireworks echoing off hills or a boombox in a long tunnel. :) Michael np.
