1) It's different. The *production* sounds like a studio-compilation of sessions like ISDN. I noticed during the first listen that little subtlety is used. Most of the unidentifiable sounds are mixed up front, which makes for a great speaker-album (as opposed to a headphone album in which sounds are mixed to be a little more elusive). There's all kinds of neat little 90-second segments at the ends and beginnings of the songs. The albums strengths lie in its diversity. There's somethin' for everyone...even Run-DMC ("Rock!") 2) Yeah, go buy it, especially if you find the one with the book. no@h . . . . . . ...
