Today, Dr.JAN the other half of my label, suddenly got a call to
meet up with Bill Nelson.
Bill Nelson came to Japan this week and did a gig today in Harajuku (Laforet)
Roger Eno was there, Sandii and her husband turned up aswell.
Bill Nelson has a liking for the latest fad (read:hype) DRUMS & BASS
which is popular in the U.K. right now.
He has a junglist album out.
He should be here until next week, visiting his relatives (married Yukihiro's X)

Unfortunately the music is nothing of the standard which YMO brought us,

the techno-mania hypes and relishes music that sounds like my demos when

Shots of both YMO and Kraftwerk were on.
I liked the Kraftwerk bits as I haven't actually seen it before.

Hideki Matsutake turned up at MIDI-LAND in Ikebukuro last saturday.
Also the guy from Cassiopea.
Err...my mate told me he bought one their amps for 200,000 yen, but I digress...
Unfortunately I went to MIDI-land the day before, and couldn't be bothered
to go again the next day. :-> It is not THAT exciting!
Although, Yamaha were demo-ing the CS1X synthesizer and many new ANALOG
emulators from various companies...
ARE WE GOING FULL-CIRCLE???
You heard it here first, I predicted this in 1991!
But people ignored me!
I bought the CS1X...
I recommend it to anyone who wants that analog/kraftwerky sound!
Go for it...it is out there!
