Just to let you know, after bjorks gig in the netherlands she took a flight to Israel where she teamed up with red snapper for a great show! It's the 1st time a warp artist arrives here so you can imagine that besides me and a couple of others no one had a clue what to look forward too (And let's leave the bjork hysteria aside for now). Red Snapper were amazing! Jazz and psychadelics and trip hop with lotsa live energies and not a synth in sight. The audience loved it and I am quite sure they have some new fans now! Then came bjork with two familiar keyboard players and a jungle remix of big time sensuality in a style that was VERY familiar... a quick chat with the promoter and I learned of course that they are plaid, a couple of hysteric phone calls the other day and I arranged to have a quick interview with them after the sound check of the show in Tel-Aviv. It turned out to be very nice chat that uncovered the following (attention! idm content coming...) information: After they finish touring with Bjork they'll sit down and finish their album which will include a vocalist (only as textures, don't worry divaphobics) and a clarinet player. Hopefully it'll be out by next year but cross yr fingers and say a prayer just in case. The jungle remix of big time sensuality is theirs and will be released soon. regards, snow. BTW:
quoted 3 lines She>She >also played a new song although someone later told me it was actually an >LFO track. A fantastic end of the first day!
THANKS MAN!!! me & a friend spent couple of hours trying to figure out what this damn familiar 'new' track is... I remembered reading about it once here in idm but I didn't have a clue where to start searching the digests. Snow.
