I can't figure it out. I got more spam today because I posted to a newsgroup, and I noticed that the spammers use unconventional words and spelling in the "Subject" and "From" fields, so that I can't create a filter against it. Do these people think to themselves that "Well, if I can just get past their spam filters, I'm sure they'll want to read my spam." It seems more like an attempt to annoy people than sell them something. Has anybody come up with a really effective means of avoiding spam when posting to newsgroups?
