I'm not sure it's _that_ much like Oval, though they do have in common the ability to "imply" melody in the midst of a torrent of glitches & clicks without stating it outright. Anyonw will till you I'm far from being a big glitch fan, but both these artists find ways of being traditionally musical while throwing out the entirety of traditional music structure, if that makes sense. I haven't heard "Child's View"

It's _not_ a Gary Numan cover, it's an original track, and one of my favorites from last year. It's basically just a cool, quirky instrumental pop song, with distant echoes of Krautrock.

This is a really sweet song. If you've heard some of the recent poppier stuff coming from some of the eggheads in Chicago (Aerial M, Jim O' Rourke, etc.) you'll be in the right ballpark. There seems to be a bit of a movement towards grafting some of the (ulp -- terminology) post-rock influences onto things that resemble three-minute pop songs, and, surprisingly, it works very well. This one has some nice Brian Wilson style harmonies.
