Sounds like a group loop hum.. AM II makes me think you have a nubus mac,
but either way make sure that you have a wire that runs from the ground
post of your mixer, and connect the other end to the metal frame of your
computer.. you may have to pull the case open, and find a place in the
metal shielding of your machine that you can touch a good part of the
wire to, and close the case back down so it secures the wire.
