I just got the Fat Cat Various artists remixes (008). I should have had it
ages ago, but it takes a time for these things to get as far as rural
England. Its excellent, and if you're even slower than me, then you should
buy it now.
Anyhow, a few questions:
Is the Pole track a good indication of what Pole is like?
Who is actually being remixed?
Is there a good way of telling roughly which Fat Cat releases are good, and
which ones aren't (as in reviews). They're the only idm label that surface
here with any regularity, but I'm too skint to buy all their stuff on the off
chance (particularly as they've put out some pants in the past), and it's
hard to make a firm decision off one brief listen in a shop, while the local
trance kids are hassling you to hear their new ATB 12s.
