Did some pre Christmas shopping for myself, and stumbled out of the store with the following: AFX, _Hangable Auto Bulb_. Yep, found it in Omaha and snatched it up immediately. Much has been said about this release by many more qualified people than I, but my $0.02 is that it's wonderful. Great haunting melody lines and furious beats. Will I be lucky enough to find HAB2? Money Mark, _I don't know the title but the packaging is first rate_. I've listend to it once, and while there are some great grooves on this disc, it all sounds so *unfinished*. One of the good things about the Beasties' little interludes was the funk of it all, and while you can easily hear the keyboards play an important part, once you strip everything else away, it just seems like noodling. Any opinions on this? Scorn, _Gyral_. Mmmm. Scorn. The latest release of ambient-horror-tr*p h*p music is just as good as _Evanescence_. I like this, and you will too. Cocteau Twins, _Otherness_. Very ambient - almost too ambient, with Seefeel influences everywhere. In one sense, Seefeel are the new Cocteau Twins. Worth getting if you remember how good "Echoes in a Shallow Bay" was.
