Not to draw this out any further, but a Japanese friend of mine says that otaku means house or home. I can see how it can gain a different meaning as a slang term. ObIDM: (question really). Anybody know anything about the Dougans/Cobain blokes from the UK? Last I heard, they were supposed to be making some cool funky TV show. Seems like they're just lying low for a while... not much in the magazines or on this list about 'em. Also, I bought 2 Bad Mice's album on Sm:)e, Kaotic Chemistry, and was wondering if one of the tracks titled "Underworld" could possibly have been written by Underworld?
