Yeah, I agree - IMO, Goa isn't 'intelligent', in the same way that stuff by Hardfloor and their ilk isn't really talked about on this list. If I was being kind, I'd say that Goa trance is just dance music (breakdowns and bubbling analogue riffs are kind of standard for dance music) without any real thought or innovation behind it. If I was being unkind, I'd say that it's mindless, unoriginal cack - Harthouse were doing this stuff back in 93. And it was shit then as well.
