Hello- From what little I've heard of Cosa Nostra, the track on Serenity Dub 2.1 PM is indeed an exception. It is most likely a remix... Cosa Nostra are on the Bellisima label specializing in fine Japanese acts, and they are a nice acid jazzy thing fronted by two women. Nothing at all like the cut you've mentioned. That Cosa Nostra "dub" is spectacular, however, and would make a nice opening song to a DJs late night house set. Spacey intro gives way to four on the floor, and horns & e-bow guitar fading in and out of the mix in a nice trancey manner. The real winner on that Serenity dub CD, though, is surely that Mouse On Mars track. Sorry that I can't remember the title... I had heard Mouse On Mars before and was intrigued, but this track in the context of this compilation definitely blew me away. One of my number one tunes at the moment.
