yes it seems i've missed tietchens' recent work so that's why i can't see it.

see further below. it seems maurizio ("m" for short) is a kind of side or sister label of basic channel.

as has been pointed out earlier, quite accurately imo, the cd comp is a kind of "taster" for the vinyl. that explains the deliberate distortion and the "buy vinyl" comment on the cd comp. the vinyl works perfectly for home listening, for me at least (the spaciousness colours most bc stuff ambient, despite the prominence of rhythm). i hope their stuff can be recognized as being much better than standard german trance (which i think is *awful*)!

sure, it does, but it looks like the person who did the track list on will-e's discog interpreted the track list on the comp as being mirrored vertically, line by line, instead of horizontally, all together, hence the reversal. bring the comp to a mirror and read the list as it appears, and that's the track list.

i'm sorry but i'm having a number of problems with this at the moment... the whole computer there is down now, and it seems i can't get through to the guy who runs it... ok it's not a very reliable server, but it's for free, so... in short, keep trying, i'll be back :-)

the strange letters on the red labeled record look like "c 4" and *that's* the m04 release james was talking about. *my* favourites (in case you consider buying any) are bc #9 (phylypstrak ii) and #7 (octagon/octaedre), and also #8 (radiance) and #4 (q 1.1). the (jeff) mills mix on #1 (enforcement) is also a gem. all of the bc's are interesting however.

yep. as for the bc releases, i have them all. cheers, p.
