Don't forget the new M-plant303, "the memory foundation," more
housier than THE PROTEIN VALVE, MINIMAL NATION, or INTERNAL EMPIRE, but
still excellent. Smoother, yet still driving, I guess. Lower BPM's
though. There is an M-plant 304 but from what I understand (at this point)
there were only like 80 white labels of this, that even made it to the
United States shores, and I wasn't cool enough to get one. ;) ;)
He also has two tracks on the new Tresor 3 compilation CD, but they were
already released:
"The Rhythm of Vision" (was on the MINIMAL NATION 2x12", but the mix on the
CD is worth having)...
and "The Protector" by THE VISION, (from Waveform Transmissions vol.2).
The whole Tresor3 CD is a must for you folks that like this kind of techno,
but haven't bought the vinyl releases.
Tresor is based out of Berlin, and I believe M-plant and AXIS is based in
Detroit, though basically all the stuff by Mills and Hood comes out both
places on both labels, usually, somehow, sooner or later.
Duh, erm, can you tell I like Hood? :)
