well, if you're so open minded, you wouldn't go around calling it "crap" out of hand. obviously electro offered a lot to a lot of people. personally, there are some totally cracking tracks that i really dig. unfortunately, there are also a lot of silly cliches in that style that jedi knights are doing little to get away from. the antacid remix has some nice drum programming and bass noises but the vocoder stuff and the string melody are kinda lame. personally (and i know teep is sick of hearing this as he and i have been hashing this out in email for a week! apologies in advance, buddy.), i think that there are plenty of good ideas to be incorporated without doing a full on throwback to the mid 80's. jedi knights, however, are just doing the total clone thing. i mean, it's interesting as an intellectual exercise, but that's about it. jon's top electro trax: kraftwerk - numbers herbie hancock - rockit dynamix ii - ignition bomb the bass - ten seconds to terminate meat beat manifesto - i got the fear (titanium mix) Jon Drukman jsd@cyborganic.com I can tell you're cool because your water costs more than your beer.
