I for one cannot. I think they are history. Whether you dig on Spanners
or not (I sort of hate it, personally), there is hardly any question that
something tight and structured has become disjointed and sort of random.
Maybe this makes things more enjoyable for some people; I just see the
end of the road, like The Chameleons or Echo and the Bunnymen, right
before they split, you could just sense things breaking apart. (Sorry I
can't think of any idm for an example.)
Thinking positive: What comes out of the split may add up to something
twice as good, three times as good. Can someone please split the band
into its component parts for me? What exactly is *missing* from the new
Plaid? Was Plaid ever all three of the members?
