I thought that it had a lot of repetition in it, but overall it may be the most exciting of the Studio 7 releases. I don't like Richie Hawtin much (his music obvisiously) but I thought the vid was plenty full of tastey cuts. You could actually play the whole thing at a club and people would probably get into it!

Some of our favorite videos to watch while being a bit "mind-altered" are the National Geographic specials. The "Jewels of the Sea" LD is incredible. So many colors and so many strange creatures that you'll never ever see. BTW, ENO has an entire laser disc much like the video you saw on FS. Its called a "video painting" or something but its all his artwork and all his music.

Even Thomas Dolby's soundtrack doesn't sound half bad,
The tunes and images of "Planet of Lost Souls" and "Neo" are some of the coolest I have ever seen and heard on computer animated videos or LD's.

There is plenty of House of Usher stuff on the X-Mix series too!

I have one and its a lot harder to see the 3-d images than the books. The only way I can ever do it is to hook my vcr up to my 13" tv. On a 27" I just can't get the 3d stuff (but the images are cool eneough on their own I guess).
