IMHO, good minimal programming has to have some interaction between what few elements there are and that interaction has to subtly change over time. Pick up most any Dan Bell track for an example, there isn't much there, but the relationship between what is undergoes several changes during the course of the track. The tracks have a flow to them that goes beyond what they are made of. In this respect _Musik_ fails, however I think Richie was trying to achieve an atmosphere above all else. I dug the mood created, others didn't. No big deal. - George
